A group of friends had a lovely meal at the Mowbray Hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff. The menu was extensive and plenty of choices. Seniors were well catered for with a tasty selection of choices. All meals came out piping hot and enjoyed by us all. We will certainly go back.

Recommend everyone to come, it is so delicious, you must order oysters, different tastes of platter, the location is very good at the beach, it is to stop production, remember to buy tickets, egg shrimp fish rolls are sweet and sour and spicy, which suits my appetite.

Meihua Building is the best Chinese restaurant in Launceston. The decoration here imitates the Ming and Qing styles and is very luxurious. The dishes are also mainly Cantonese dishes, and the chef&#39;s craftsmanship is also very good and tastes very good. But the price is a bit expensive.

The environment is very good, but the dishes are too rough, the amount is particularly large, a Main one person can&#39;t finish it! The lamb is not bad, three pieces, only half of it will not work! The big burger is super big, there are beef patties, bacon and an omelette in it, there are various dishes, the steak is also super large, the rhythm of the dead people originally ordered dessert, really no stomach, and retreated.

Food and service is usually very good, but this time didn&rsquo;t get what we ordered, had to send it back to kitchen and when correct meals arrived the scallops were overcooked. Overall service was good and the staff apologised for the mixup

Great value tasty food and very pleasant staff, prices are sensible and there is a seniors menu.Will be back again for sure for lunch as very convenient for shopping.

Great service from the counter, very good steaks.  Everything happened promptly and we were checked on by the service crew regularly.  Nice handy find for our stay in Launceston.

Always a great place to dine.. Food excellent but felt very sorry to the two staff members who were run of their feet resulting in being very slow with drinks &amp; meals. At least one more staff would have made a difference. But we will be back.
